“Re-tracing Chinese visits to America pre-Columbus” is a highly complex project spanning several years, combining scientific research, exploration, and story-telling in some of the world’s most difficult to access regions and countries, whilst challenging established “truths”. Please support our academic research where we look for scientific evidence of Chinese presence pre-Columbus along the North Pacific Rim all the way to America.

Please help us raise Xu Fu Environmental Scholarships, enabling more 13 – 18 years old students from remote places on Kyushu island, Japan, to get a hands on understanding of inshore lifesaving and ocean preservation issues and what to do about it. Our target is to raise 13 scholarships, one for each port we visit. The 5 days / 4 nights course is held by UK NGO AtlanticPacific at Kamaishi in March 2025. Each scholarship is USD850 (JPY135,000)
The academic research has been completed and it justifies undertaking the first adventure stage of “Re-tracing Chinese visits to America pre-Columbus”; a rowing expedition from China to Japan where we story-tell “Xu Fu’s Voyage East” (徐福东渡) from 210BC. This will bring China one step closer to America in pre-Columbian times. Our rowboat is already in China and ready to go! Please help us row it 1,300km to Japan by making a donation.

The Ranum Bubble for Stranded UWC Students supported UWC students from around the world unable to return to their respective UWC campuses due to coronavirus travel restrictions. Several students were stuck in poor and unsafe countries with poor internet making studying online extremely stressful. Bringing these students into a safe campus community in Northern Denmark relieved students of stress and anxiety, enabling them to focus on their studies.
