Past project
Sponsors make the world go round and adventures happen.
For this adventure Christian covered all his own expenses, which meant all funds raised went 100% towards financing the lifeboat. In total more than 100 individuals made online donations, some more than once. At the end of the run, one anonymous donor from China pledged to match all funds donated 1:1 up to GBP3,000, which ensured that the fundraising target was met – and exceeded. In addition, VIKING Life-Saving Equipment, also a safety product sponsor for Christian’s Trans-Atlantic row and Christian’s former employer, donated safety equipment worth £500.
The target was to raise GBP10,750 during Step I. This target was exceeded by 22% and the final fundraising came to GBP13,069, as can be seen in the table below. Now Step II is open for donations.

If you feel like supporting this cause, please donate via GoFundMe below. If you would like to make a large donation, please contact us so we can establish the most tax efficient way of doing this.
